The position
This role of a Compliance Manager is a key role working closely with the Senior Management, you will be overseeing Compliance for the creation of veec's, stc's and various other energy certificates that are produced by the company for all projects and will have support of a team of auditors & admin staff who will report to you.
Some key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the process of carbon credit certificate creation
- Oversee the final checks of compliance and evidence for claims
- Ensure SOP's are followed by your audit and admin staff
- Liaise with partners to collect correct evidence for claims
- Have support from a small off-shore team helping you
- Ensure accurate data, documents and information is collected
- Ensuring certificate creation is correct and compliant
- Communicating with customers and clients when needed
- Maintain high quality assurance
- Keeping strong time frames, volumes and general processes
- Meet goals and targets for certificate creation
- Respond to requests for compliance advice for incoming lodgements

The experience necessary:
To be considered for this role you must have experience handling compliance and quality assurance of certificate creation in the energy schemes eg. VEU, Energy Savings Scheme, Ipart etc.
The main requirements are:
- Must have experience and knowledge of certificate creation
- Understanding of the administrative part of energy schemes
- Know the general requirements for evidence for certificates
- Detail oriented and analytical skills
- Experience in quality assurance for checked and audited work
- Ability to collaborate and work with a team and staff
- Good communication skills to deal with customers
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Computer and software skills
- Advantage to be exposed to heat pump, air conditioning, lighting, solar, hvac, ihd, heers, ipart, or other related parts of the energy scheme
