Job Title: Director of Childcare Services

The role of Director of Childcare Services involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality before, after and holiday care programs to children. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to build relationships with schools and communities.

This is a full-time role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage compliance and medical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with school staff and community members.
  • Plan and deliver enriching experiences for children every day.
  • Foster relationships with children and their families that are fun, inspiring and delightful.
  • Manage and roster a team of passionate educators.
  • Oversee compliance and medical documentation processes.
  • Connect the childcare service with the school community.
Requirements:
  • Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a genuine interest in working with children.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident interpersonal skills, no matter the audience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Natural leadership abilities with attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for creating engaging experiences for primary-aged children.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and love to have fun.
  • Hold or be studying towards an ACECQA-approved qualification.
