Due to company growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated individual to step into the role of a Mechanical Services Project Coordinator. As part of our dynamic project team, you will take on a key position supporting the delivery of a diverse range of mechanical services projects, from initiation through to completion. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Project Coordinator who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Services Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects run smoothly, on time and to budget. You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and managing mechanical services projects from start to completion
- Acting as the main liaison between clients, contractors and internal construction teams
- Preparing and maintaining detailed project documentation including schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals and change orders
- Assisting with procurement of equipment and materials
- Monitoring project progress and providing updates to key stakeholders
- Providing technical support to the construction team and assisting with on-site issue resolution
- Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, building codes and Company best practices
- Conducting site visits to oversee works and confirm alignment with drawings and specifications
- Maintaining accurate records of communications with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role within the Australian contracting industry
- Strong knowledge of BCA and AS1668
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma in HVAC
- High-level communication and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation systems
