Position Description:

About the Role

This role involves providing personalised support to assist participants with community access and recreational activities. Responsibilities may include accompanying clients for a walk in the park, a day at the beach, swimming, shopping, or completing regular errands. You may also support with meal preparation, light household tasks such as cooking and cleaning, and other daily living activities as required. In addition, assistance with transport to and from appointments, community events, and social activities may be provided to ensure participants can engage safely and confidently in their day-to-day lives.

About You

We are seeking someone who is genuinely passionate about supporting individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives. You thrive when working autonomously, take pride in your work, and demonstrate strong time management and accountability.

  • The successful applicant will be available to work day shifts at least two days per week, preferably on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
  • Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you feel confident in your role.
  • Ongoing support and supervision will be available to help you develop your skills and provide the best possible care to participants.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Disability sector: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Preferred)
  • Driver Licence and reliable vehicle (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Preferred)
