Queensland Government Air (QGAir) forms part of the QPS, Aviation Capability Group (ACG) and provides government aviation services specialising in both rotary and fixed wing operations in support of the QPS and our partner agencies in regular and emergency response operations across Queensland. The Role:

Join our dynamic team of QGAir pilots, where we pride ourselves on delivering safe, timely and responsive frontline aviation services. As we expand our fleet with the introduction of brand-new Beechcraft King Air B360 turboprop aircraft, we're looking for a skilled pilot based in Mount Isa who is eager to contribute to providing worldclass frontline aviation services in community safety.

We are seeking a skilled pilot with a passion for flying to operate our modern fleet of King Air B360s and caravan aircraft. As a member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for contributing to the safe and efficient operation of our fleet by providing essential, lifesaving and emergency aviation support to our partner agencies.

What We're Looking For:

Mandatory Requirements:

- Hold a current Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)
- Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating
- Minimum 3000 hours total time
- Minimum 1500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
- Minimum 300 hours Night PIC
- Minimum 400 hours Multi-Engine PIC
- Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
- Hold a current Passport

Highly Desirable Requirements:

- Hold a current Australian Air Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL)
- Minimum 500 hours Turbine PIC
- B360 Type Rating
- C208 (or similar) Experience

A probation period of 6-months applies to this position.
