The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation0) Project Engineer to join their expansion project at a well-established mine site. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major growth phase and contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of works.

You will work closely with the Project Manager to manage a rapidly expanding program of projects and maintenance works.

The project will run for approximately 14 to 15 months. The role will be office-based in Brisbane CBD until January 2026, after which it will shift to a FIFO site-based arrangement, operating on a 2:1 roster.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Project Manager in the Planning and delivery of E&I related projects.
  • Being part of the owner team.
  • Oversee all project phases from concept studies, engineering design, procurement, implementation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Ensure execution aligns with project specifications and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Interface between design teams, contractors, and site delivery teams.

What You Bring:

  • Relevant Qualification – in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience delivering E&I projects in the Mining Industry.
  • Previous experience working on the client side.
  • Demonstrated project lifecycle experience from conception to close-out.
  • Good Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.
