Here's your opportunity to join one of Australia's most respected national law firms - a market leader in complex, high-value transactions. This Brisbane-based Senior Associate position offers the chance to work with a highly regarded Banking & Finance team that partners with major financiers, borrowers, sponsors, and government clients across Australia.

You'll contribute to significant deals across energy and renewables, resources, property, and infrastructure, advising on a full spectrum of financial products including project finance, asset finance, leveraged finance, syndicated debt, and debt capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex financing transactions across various sectors
  • Provide high-quality advice on project finance, asset finance, syndicated debt, and debt capital markets
  • Cultivate strong client relationships and contribute to business development
  • Work closely with senior lawyers, clients, and key stakeholders to deliver exceptional outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Up to 3 years post-promotion experience in Banking & Finance law
  • Proven transactional experience from a reputable mid / top-tier law firm
  • Experience in project finance, asset finance, leveraged finance, syndicated debt, or debt capital markets
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • Remuneration: Competitive, at or above rival first-tier law firms
  • Bonus Program: A reward system offering a 15% bonus for exceeding performance targets (revenue, technical competence, leadership, mentoring, and client service)
  • No Billable Targets: While you will still record time for client billing, there are no billable targets for lawyers
