About the role

The Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Assertive Outreach Worker will provide flexible and culturally safe support to participants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and who are experiencing complex needs.

This role will:

  • Deliver assertive outreach and case management support to help participants overcome barriers to accessing services, improve wellbeing, and strengthen connections with community.
  • Manage a caseload of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander participants with complex needs, supporting them to build resilience, stability, and independence.
  • Build strong partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and stakeholders to enhance engagement and improve outcomes.

What we're offering

  • Part time 0.5 FTE permanent position available.
  • $45,200 base salary at 0.5 FTE (pro rata $90, % superannuation + NFP salary packaging options (more after tax $ in your pocket)
  • Paid parental leave (14 weeks accessible after six months of employment)
