  • Casual outage role:
    Located at Orica Cyanide Yarwun, QLD with potential for other project/outage work
  • Competitive Rate:
    EBA rates
    $66.84 p/h
    (incl casual loading + OT Penalties (from base rate) + Site allowance
  • Project Dates:
    Start date from
    Mid-September,
    running until approximately
    late-October
  • Outage Roster:
    Monday to Saturday, Days/Nights, 11-hour shifts
  • Other Benefits:
    LAFHA or Accommodation provided to distant workers

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our
Energy & Utilities
business has opportunities for casual Mechanical Fitters for an outage located in
Gladstone, QLD.
You will provide your expertise within an outage environment performing routine and reactive maintenance on plant equipment, valve and RV change out's, confined space isolations, gauze changeouts, hydro testing, plate cooler exchange, installation of pipe work and flange management.

ABOUT YOU

  • Site Proficient:
    Experience working within a heavy industry environment
  • Team Oriented:
    Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
  • Workplace Safety:
    Committed to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
  • Qualifications:
    Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E), Working at heights (RIIWHS204E) (within 2 years) Construction white card, Rights to work in Australia.
  • Must be able to obtain a QLD Explosives Security Clearance
