Wenona is seeking a passionate and experienced Studies of Religion and Geography teacher to join our Social Sciences Department. You will inspire our young women through dynamic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.

The Position
- Teach Geography (Years 7–12) and Studies of Religion, delivering engaging and challenging learning experiences.
 - Inspire students through outstanding professional practice and differentiated, inquiry-based teaching.
 - Design authentic assessments that inform and enhance student learning.
 - Integrate ICT effectively to enrich learning and foster engagement beyond the classroom.
 - Contribute to a supportive learning environment focused on pastoral care and student wellbeing.
 - Collaborate with colleagues and engage in ongoing professional learning to strengthen teaching excellence and the Wenona academic program.
 
This role is a permanent full-time position, with a Term start.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be highly qualified, with experience in teaching Studies of Religion and Geography across Years 7-12, with a willingness to teach Psychology. You will have a strong working knowledge of NESA curriculum, and HSC assessment practices and marking processes. You will be solutions-focused, flexible and have excellent communication skills with an ability to engage and communicate with various stakeholders. You will be capable of working collaboratively within a team environment and be committed to supporting the values of Wenona as you undertake your role.
