The Agency:

Connecting Plots Pty Ltd is an independent creative agency looking for a smart and hungry marketing specialist with strong social and content experience to join their team.

  • Inner Southern Sydney location (Beaconsfield)
The Role:

Working closely with the wider team, you will collaborate with others and manage agency process to plan, develop and execute content that supports our clients' goals, balancing projects and campaigns with the smooth running of day-to-day social channels.

You'll also be adept at pitching and supporting the Managing Director with new business. You have a natural flare for big ideas, a keen eye for design, an empathy of earned attention and a thirst to create the best work out there for brands.

Clients range from a fun restaurant chain, FMCG to pet food.

Responsibilities:

  • Content planning, taking client briefs and understanding how to bring it to life on social through creative & strategic content and storytelling based on audience insights
  • Have strong creative judgement and be able to effectively develop always-on post ideas, and work closely with the creative and production teams to deliver campaigns that harness social first thinking and fit-for-channel creative assets
  • Copywriting in line with platform best practice
  • Developing paid social recommendations, and ad management and optimisation in line with agreed plans
  • Developing brand tone across social channels and helping out with some day to day community management when needed
  • Monitoring competitor activity and brands and creators that are doing interesting things in social, as well as trending topics in Australia
  • Developing influencer campaigns including influencer identification, artist management and reporting
  • Provide strategic direction for social client businesses
  • Client liaison, including managing WIPs and writing contact reports
  • Project team coordination on timings, resource & responsibilities
  • Scoping & managing resource, tracking project budgets
  • Monthly or quarterly reporting for retained clients
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues motivating them to help us deliver ambitious ideas
About you:
  • 4 years exp in social media, ideally in a social media agency or creative agency as a Senior Account Manager
  • Hands on experience managing and creating social content, confident in leading content planning, taking client briefs and understanding how to bring it to life on social through creative and strategic content and storytelling based on audience insights
  • Ideally have pitching and growing new business experience
  • Love to create and contribute to a thriving agency culture
  • Have high attention to detail, strong project management and client management experience
