Food Process Worker with Forklift

Our client is a leader in pet nutrition solutions and is in need of an experienced process worker with a forklift ticket. As a process operator you will play an integral role in preparing the very important ingredient that stimulates our pet's appetite.

Minimum1 year experience operating a forklift.You must be able to operate a forklift confidently.

Process Operator Shift:

3 rotating shifts in fortnightly increments Monday to Friday, you must be able to work all shifts

  • 6am to 2pm - $33.38ph
  • 2pm to 10pm-$38.39ph
  • 10pm to 6am-$43.39ph

To be successful in this position you:

  • Mustbe able to work the rotating roster
  • Musthave driver's license and vehicle
  • Have experience as High reach forklift operator with a valid license
  • Be comfortable working with raw animal products
  • Be physically fit- there will be an aspect of manual handling involved
  • Be available for an immediate start
  • Have a sound understanding of WHS practices
  • Be ok with handling and cutting up of meats and fish
  • MUST be able to pass a drug and alcohol test when required

Duties include:

  • Forklift operation
  • Cleaning and maintenance of machinery
  • Handling raw animal materials (there can be an unpleasant smell)
  • Completion of relevant paperwork
  • Unloading trucks
  • Stacking boxes
  • Strapping pallets
