About the role

Equinox Property Group is seeking applications from prospective management couples who are interested in Assistant Management roles at a short stay holiday/tourist park in Doncaster East, Melbourne, VIC. Our ideal outcome would be to see you progress in time to a Park Management role within our group and varied locations around Australia.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Park Management team and business owners discussing, making and implementing commercial decisions
  • Working with the Park Management team to project manage developments at the park, including facilities, cabins and amenities upgrades
  • Completing general maintenance of the park (including handyperson, grounds and cleaning as required)
  • Attending to after-hours lock ups and call-outs (on rotating basis with Park Managers) in relation to guest and maintenance needs

Your Skills and Experience

  • Previous facilities, property management or hospitality exposure
  • Excellent customer and staff interface skills
  • Personal handyperson and maintenance skills
  • Ability to manage prospective capital development (project management)
  • Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Good ability to read and understand financial reports and profit and losses
  • First Aid Certificate will be highly regarded
  • Police Clearance
  • Attention to detail, flexible and reliable
  • Passion for customer service with a people/community focus mindset
  • Must have permanent right to work in Australia
