Our Utilities sector client has an urgent Long-term contract position available for a Business Analyst with full end-to-end lifecycle experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-impact project where you'll play a pivotal role in finalising requirements, shaping solution design, and guiding the implementation of a software package to deliver real business outcomes. The role offers flexible working arrangements with 1 day per week in the office.

The Role

As the Business Analyst, you'll be central to ensuring the success of a major software implementation. You will:

  • Complete requirements and process mapping activities
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels to ensure business needs are fully understood and prioritised
  • Partner with the vendor to align design with business requirements
  • Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing, acting as the triage point for issues and defects
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across both business and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery

About You

We're looking for a Business Analyst who thrives in fast-paced delivery environments and is motivated by achieving results. You will bring:

  • Proven experience across the full Business Analyst lifecycle
  • Strong requirements gathering and process mapping skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience collaborating with vendors on system design and delivery
  • Exposure to testing cycles and end-to-end implementation processes
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps

Desirable skills

  • Experience with Appian or other workflow automation platforms
  • A background in the energy or utilities sector
