Make a Real Difference in Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Clinical Senior Social Worker – Child Protection & Domestic and Family Violence (CP&DFV) to join the Limestone Coast Local Health Network.

About the Opportunity

You will provide expert clinical social work services to children, young people, and families experiencing complex trauma and safety concerns. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will assess risk, develop safety plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions that promote healing and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and safety planning for high-risk families
  • Provide trauma-informed therapeutic interventions for children and adults
  • Collaborate with child protection services, police, and community organisations
  • Support and mentor junior staff members
  • Maintain detailed case documentation and participate in case reviews

What You Need

  • Recognised social work qualification and current registration with AASW
  • Extensive experience in child protection and domestic violence services
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and family systems theory
  • Excellent communication and crisis intervention skills
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region
