We are a steel fabrication business in Archerfield looking for a HR or HC licenced driver to deliver goods predominantly around metro Brisbane and south east Queensland areas.  We have a national customer base some of which have a global presence in their specialised fields within the construction industry.   We provide our customers with an end-to-end service of fabrication, transportation including cranage, and installations on site.  We are looking for someone to fulfil the important role of transporting our customer's goods and equipment safely to their destination.

This position is a full time position approximately 38 hours each week and will require someone flexible with starting and finishing times.  We will consider part-time applications too if you meet the criteria.

The successful applicant must have the following credentials:

· HC or HR Truck Licence and can drive Road Ranger

· Good knowledge of SE Qld

· Punctual and reliable

· Have good time management skills and excellent work ethic

· Excellent driving history

It will be highly regarded if you have the following:

· Dogger/Rigger ticket

· Tilt Tray experience

· Vehicle Loading Crane ticket or higher

· Forklift/Telehandler ticket

· Open Licence (Road Ranger Experience)

· Preferable non-smoker (no smoking in vehicles allowed)

Your role and responsibilities will include:

· Performing pre-start checks on trucks prior to operating

· Re-fueling and keeping trucks clean and tidy

· Identifying and reporting inspection defects as well as workplace hazards

· Operating trucks and machinery in a responsible and safe manner and in accordance with transport chain of command regulations

· Completing delivery docket paperwork

· Undertaking required site inductions in order to effect deliveries

· Conduct yourself respectfully and responsibly both in the workshop and onsite where you will be representing our company and good reputation

· Willing to perform maintenance of trailers/vehicles around the workshop when not driving the trucks

· Working outside of normal hours on odd occasions
