Description
Followmont Transport is seeking a Linehaul Administrator to join our Brisbane team. This role offers hands-on experience in linehaul operations and is the perfect step for anyone starting or growing their career in the transport industry.
You'll be supporting with payroll duties, subcontractor management, backloading, and operational compliance. You'll ensure accurate data entry, manage driver records, coordinate freight and revenue capture, and help keep linehaul operations running smoothly. The Opportunity
- Support weekly payroll processing, validating pay details, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining records.
- Assist in coordinating subcontractor payments and load plans, ensuring invoices are accurate and processed on time.
- Capture and reconcile backloading data daily, submit weekly reports, and maintain POD records.
- Provide administrative and compliance support, including driver records, reporting, and communication.
- Ensure accurate operational data, coordinate with teams to resolve queries, and assist with process improvements.
- Assist in managing driver safety records, support audits, ensure WHS compliance, and engage in training and meetings.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone ready to jump in, work closely with a supportive team, and confidently engage with customers — both in person and over the phone.
- Willingness to learn transport industry systems and compliance requirements.
- 6:00 am-2:06 pm Mondays & 8:00 am–4:06 pm Tuesday - Friday
- Familiarity with the MS Office suite & Data Entry
- Ability to follow structured processes and work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- A knack for staying organised and prioritising tasks.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently when needed.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy under pressure.
- Experience in payroll, accounts, transport, or administration is advantageous (but not essential).
