About the Role

You will join a well-established and respected Early Learning Service located in central Armidale, close to schools, cafes, and public parks. The centre features spacious and inviting learning environments, both indoor and outdoor, with a strong reputation for quality practice and family engagement.

As the ECT in the preschool room, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a team of educators in the delivery of high-quality programs
  • Design and evaluate play-based, child-led learning experiences
  • Build respectful, positive relationships with families and the wider community
  • Contribute to maintaining or exceeding the National Quality Standards

Our practices are grounded in the latest research and informed by contemporary pedagogies, including the Abecedarian Approach, Circle of Security, and Project-Based Learning.

About you:

  • NESA registration (mandatory)
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent
  • At least 12 months of experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
  • Full-time availability on a rotating roster
  • Confidence in leading teams and engaging with families
  • A strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and planning cycle
