The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our Mathematics, Science and Agriculture Faculty from Term 1, 2026. This is a permanent full-time position.

You will be part of a collaborative team and play a key role in inspiring students, delivering engaging learning experiences, and contributing to the broader life of the school.

Key Requirements

·       A degree in Education (Secondary) or equivalent with NESA accreditation

·       Accreditation to teach Mathematics (Stage 4–5)

·       Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)

·       Passion for student learning and wellbeing

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·       Willingness to contribute to co-curricular activities and school events

·       Alignment with the values and Anglican ethos of NEGS

Highly Regarded

·       Ability to teach Stage 6 Mathematics subjects viewed favourably

·       Qualifications and/or experience in teaching additional subject areas

·       Experience in independent and/or boarding school settings
