Scope: A Records & Information Management Consultant works to deliver RecordPoint managed service offerings and deliver records and information management best practice guidance to our customers.  You will work on behalf of customers to be their champion, ensuring the most accurate and effective use of the RecordPoint Platform to achieve their compliance objectives.
This role will embody one of RecordPoint' s core values in the pursuit of customer success and forging lasting partnerships with our customers. This role will operate within RecordPoint's Professional Services team. This role is perfect for a self-starter who is the kind of person who is determined to leave everything better than they found it. You'll be responsible for:
  • Representing RecordPoint as one of our Records Management and Information Governance Subject Matter Experts
  • Engaging with customers to guide them through adopting RecordPoint platform
  • Building relationships and instill trust with our clients regarding our Services team and the RecordPoint Platform
  • Staying up to date on trends in disciplines of Records Management, Information Governance, AI advances
  • Troubleshooting/logging tickets in the company's ticketing system when needed and following the progress of the ticket to provide progress updates to the client(s)
You'll do:
  • Client Engagement:
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business goals through communication and problem solving
  • Conduct consultations to gather and document client requirements
  • Help customers define technical requirements and solutions with RecordPoint
  • Understand customers' success criteria and ROI  
  • Solution Design/Architecture:
  • Create and maintain RecordPoint's standard solution designs
  • Provide best practices and improvements to business service methodologies
  • Align RecordPoint solution designs to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with development teams on enhancements or customizations
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and follow best practices  
  • Implementation, Migration and Integration:
  • Resolve issues quickly during implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve client outcomes
  • Support Project Managers in overcoming deployment challenges
  • Evaluate and reconcile information, distinguishing user requests from business requirements
  • Translate business requirements into business outcomes
 Training and Documentation:Train customers and team members on using RecordPoint productsCreate user guides and update technical documentation as needed when new products are launched
Communication and Project Management:Drive multiple initiatives to completion simultaneouslyDefine concepts with users and ensure timely milestone completion with project managersCollaborate with other technical consultants in the teamParticipate in project planning and estimatingProvide task status/updates to the PMContribute to pre-sales scoping engagements, SoWs, tenders, and RFx as needed You'll bring:
  • Experience or Certification in: Records Management, Business Information Systems or Data Cyber Security
  •  3-5 years of experience implementing SharePoint and ECM/EDRMS solutions
  • 1+ years experience working as a consultant in a client facing environment OR considerable customer service background
