The role

As the Social Media Manager, you will lead the social team of 4 in delivering innovative, results-driven social media strategies that elevate brand awareness and drive conversions across our channels. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that City Beach maintains a bold and engaging social presence that aligns with our brand strategy while deeply connecting with our evolving Gen Z audience.

Your success in this role will come from your passion for driving customer engagement through the creation and execution of impactful, trend-savvy content and messaging. All while maintaining City Beach's unique vibe, tone of voice, and standing out as a leader in the fashion and lifestyle space.

What you'll be doing:

• Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement a global social media strategy that supports brand goals and international growth. Lead and mentor the Social & Influencer teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Content Creation & Platform Management: Oversee the creation of on-brand content (videos, graphics, stories) tailored to Gen Z and optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Manage content calendars and platform-specific strategies aligned with cultural trends. Lead photoshoots and capture content in real-time.
• Influencer & Community Engagement: Lead influencer programs, ensuring authentic partnerships and measurable ROI. Engage with followers, influencers, and partners to grow our community and manage content capture at events.
• Analytics & Optimization: Track KPIs (growth, engagement, traffic, conversions) and optimize strategies based on data. Collaborate with the Digital Team on paid media efforts and help localize content for new markets.
• Collaboration & Paid Media: Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Content, eComm, Digital) to align campaigns. Advise on paid social strategies and audience targeting.
  

What you'll need to bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Social Media Management, with proven team leadership and results.
• Tertiary degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• Access to a vehicle and willingness to travel to different locations for photoshoots is required.
• Strong understanding of Gen Z culture, trends, and behaviours.
• Creative and analytical skills in content creation and performance analysis.
• A natural leader with the ability to inspire and collaborate across teams.
• Expertise in TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging social trends.
• Experience tailoring content for international markets.
• Strong brand storytelling skills and excellent written/verbal communication.
• Proven success in cross-functional collaboration with marketing and commercial teams.
