The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking skilled Boilermakers to join our team on a full-time and/or casual basis for a shutdown program in Port Pirie running through to the end of the year. The roster is DIDO (Drive-In Drive-Out) 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, working 12-hour shifts, offering a great work-life balance. You'll enjoy a dynamic work environment, a strong team culture, and regular overtime opportunities.

About the Role:

You will primarily be working on-site, focusing on strip-outs and the installation of new equipment and steelwork. The role involves work across various sections of the plant, including chutes, pipework, and structural steel. A strong emphasis is placed on quality, precision, and safety. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their workmanship and thrive in a collaborative, safety-first environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
  • Cut, shape, and weld metal components using hand and power tools
  • Perform MIG and Stick welding to a high standard
  • Fabricate and assemble steel structures primarily on-site
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace
  • Follow all safety procedures and actively contribute to a positive safety culture
  • Work closely with supervisors to meet project deadlines and production targets
