We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Electrical Foreperson to join our growing ACT Electrical team on a full-time basis, located at Fyshwick. Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for providing electrical support across our multiple projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of the project and strive to deliver an excellent end product
• Coordinate electrical construction work in accordance with the project plan and in partnership with the project managers
• Assign general and daily site responsibilities
• Manage and maintain site resources
• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders on project milestones and variations
• Resolve site problems in an efficient and effective manner
• Supervise, mentor and train tradespeople and apprentices
• Ensure all safety procedures and processes are followed at all times
• Conducting team meetings, toolbox talks and training
• Other ad hoc tasks as required

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

• 5 plus years experience as a qualified electrician within the construction industry is preferred
• Must have a valid ACT electrical, data open cabling, and driver's licence
• Experience in managing medium to large construction sites
• Sound working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000:2018
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• High attention to detail and organisation skills
• Ability to solve problems
• Ability to read and interoperate electrical drawing packages
