Dental Receptionist

Hourly Rate: $40 – $45 per hour

About You

The work you'll master

• Front desk & phones: warm greetings, smart triage, follow-ups that win repeat visits.
• Diary control: multi-clinician scheduling, dental emergencies, clear notes
• Sedation & GA coordination: managing pre-op instructions, fasting requirements, consent forms, and hospital lists.
• Paediatric & special-needs patients: extra time where it counts, clear clinician briefs.
• Payment matters made simple: Quotes, Deposits, HICAPS/EFTPOS, Payment option questions answered plainly.
• Records without errors: accurate data entry, patient privacy, end-of-day reconciliation, tidy handovers.
• Keep chairs full, sort needs fast, and close every loop.

Who succeeds here

• Reliable
• You speak clearly, kindly, and confidently with kids, adults, anxious patients, dentists, and your reception teammates.
• 2+ years of dental reception (dental knowledge is essential)
• Sedation/GA workflows don't scare you. (Or you learn fast.)
• Nice to have: certificate in dental assisting

Your Role and Responsibilities

As our Dental Receptionist, you will:

• Be the First Smile They See: Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
• Master the Art of Scheduling: Keep our world running smoothly.
• Be the Patient's Champion: Questions? Concerns? You're on it Use your top-notch communication skills to provide clear, positive information. You're not just answering questions—you're building trust and peace of mind.
