What you'll be doing

As an Enrolled Nurse, you'll provide individualised nursing care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, contributing to the holistic treatment and recovery of patients at the Breast Cancer Institute. Key responsibilities will be to:

  • Deliver and evaluate nursing care tailored to individual needs
  • Communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
  • Advocate for patients and their families with sensitivity and respect
  • Ensure safe, ethical, and best-practice care within scope

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration: Current Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience relevant to the position
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
  • An understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team
