About the Child Wellbeing and Mental Health Services UnitChild Wellbeing and Mental Health Services focus on the delivery of student support services including support for student in the areas of disability, mental health and wellbeing, and complex needs.
The key outcomes/products of CWMHS are closer alignment and coordination of psychological and child protection services delivered to schools, improved response to emerging and urgent needs with local solutions, developed in collaboration with local wellbeing teams and identification and understanding of best practice approaches to services delivery.
About the position
Leading school counselling service workforce development including induction, recruitment and professional development programs. Supporting policy and practice in relation to professional standards and supervision programs to deliver responsive, evidence-based practices to enhance student wellbeing.
The Department may direct you to undertake classroom teaching and lesson preparation as required.

The 2017 transitional arrangement for the recruitment of Non-School Based Teaching Service positions, for all Senior Education Officer 1 (SEO1) and Senior Education 2 (SEO2) positions across the Department have ceased.
