About D4C
Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium comprising of industry leading Tier 1 organisations - John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. We are helping our client, Sydney Water, to deliver a $34 billion dollar program over a 10-year contract, providing design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across their southern region - from Bondi to Gerringong, and out to the Georges River National Park

About the opportunity
D4C is seeking a range of multidisciplinary Site Engineers and Project Engineersto join our dynamic, diverse and high performing teams across the Sydney region. You will manage the delivery of construction projects efficiently, ensuring they are completed within the set timeframes, budgets, and quality standards, while coordinating resources, overseeing subcontractors, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
The engineers will be working on a range of water-related projects that span various asset classes. Please see below for the list of asset classes involved:
- Stormwater
- Reservoirs
- Critical Watermains/Retic mains
- Mechanical and Electrical
- Critical sewers
- Pump Stations and Treatment plants
Key accountabilities
- Supporting project managers to ensure allocated projects are delivered to scope within time, cost, quality and regulatory standards
- Setting daily, weekly and long-term project programs to achieve required project outputs with plant, labour, materials and resources
- Monitoring and reviewing costs, invoices and claims for allocated projects
- Contributing to the constructability of a project with respect to design development
- Undertaking tender, evaluation, and award of subcontract procurement packages
- Monitoring the quality and quantities of incoming equipment and materials against drawings and specifications, arranging corrections or modifications where necessary as per Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Analysing and using document and record management systems to track progress and project performance, and report non-compliances
- Demonstrating sound people management skills by successfully managing work packages and the performance of subcontractors and the 'Self-Perform' workforce
- Liaising and coordinating with all external parties and relevant statutory authorities, managing their attendance on site as required
- Contributing to a good safety, quality, environment and a community culture
About you
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, qualifications in building construction or construction management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years engineering experience
- Unrestricted Drivers License
- Construction induction (White Card)
- A commitment to contributing to our strong safety culture
