Due to our business growth, a rewarding opportunity has emerged, and we are now seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Building Manager.

With ultimate day-to-day responsibility in serving the relevant Owners' Corporation, you will report to our Senior Operations Manager and enjoy active mentorship from our business leaders and company principals.

You are an energetic and dynamic individual who will uphold a professional, personable manner to represent owners, tenants and their guests.  Ensuring a clean, safe and functioning building environment, you will be pivotal to contactor and stakeholder relationships, trained with the technical expertise to find effective and compliant solutions.

The day-to-day of the role includes:

·       Providing efficient, effective and professional day-to-day running of the building common areas under management (overseeing aspects such as cleaning, gardening, waste management, essential services, car parking, contractors and resident registers).

·       Maintaining relationships with unit owners, tenants, Owners Corporations, Owners Corporation management companies and contractors with an emphasis on customer service, compliance and responsiveness.

·       Delivering exceptional customer service to all residents (using leading digital software), serving as the central point of contact for queries and feedback, facilities bookings, on-site events and local area event and supplier recommendations.

·       Preserving the excellent first-rate condition of building infrastructure by project managing, resolving defects and ensuring that facilities are safe and compliant through disciplined maintenance programs.

Could this be you?

Ideally you will have a consistent track record (with at least 5 years' experience) within a similar residential or strata environment combing a technical skill set with proven stakeholder relationship management.  Experience in a related customer facing setting (such as concierge or hospitality or accommodation) would be highly regarded.

You will be able to demonstrate that you have:

  • A client-centric approach with a high degree of persistence and patience to seek out improved solutions.
  • A demonstrable knowledge of occupational health and safety best practice in dealing with members of the public.
  • Ability to:

  • Work autonomously and effectively manage competing priorities.

  • Deliver well-honed written reports.
  • Interpret and successfully manage the delivery of routine compliance obligations and standards.
