About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Broker Support to join our dynamic financial services team. In this role, you will assist brokers through the loan application process, ensuring all documentation is accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for evaluating loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, and providing excellent customer service throughout the loan approval process.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Assist BDMs with broker enquiries
- Assist broker with loan applications, ensuring all necessary information is gathered and accurately documented
- Conduct/instruct preliminary credit checks and assist in the assessment of applicants against internal lending criteria
- Collate and verify supporting documentation prior to submission to the credit team
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Track and manage loan application status and follow up with clients as needed
- Work closely with sales and credit teams to manage credit risk and resolve credit-related issues
- Liaising with settlements and legal teams to ensure broker and BDM are consistently aware of progression of application post credit-approval stage until settlement

About You
As our newest team member we'd prefer:
- Background in Finance or a related field
- Ideally have experience in credit analysis or a related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Native English Speaker, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality
- Attention to detail with a focused approach and driven work ethic
- Punctuality and reliability are essential; candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to being on time and ready to work
- Strong ownership on the assigned transactions and relationships
- Continually maintain exceptional levels of support and service delivery
