Introduction:
St Joseph's College, Lochinvar is seeking two Temporary Part-Time Administrative Officers to join our dedicated team for 2026. Each position is for 7.6 hours per week, with work days set on Thursdays and Fridays. Please indicate in your cover letter which day(s) you are applying for.
In addition to these part-time positions, there may be opportunities for casual work throughout the year, providing flexibility and the chance to further support the administrative needs of the College.

Description:
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The School Administrative Officer provides administrative support to school staff and the school principal. This position is classified as a Level 4.
Skills and Experiences:
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school
- Excellent written communication skills and strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience using initiative and self-motivation in the workplace
- Demonstrated ability in accurately and proficiently performing a wide range of administration tasks
- Intermediate experience and ability to work with various databases, Microsoft office programs and excel
- Demonstrated capacity to organise, prioritise and multitask to meet various deadlines
- An understanding and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and be responsible and accountable for own work with the capacity and willingness to work in a team environment
- Willingness to Comply or Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead Policy. Category A – Accreditation to Work
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
- Completion of Anaphylaxis training
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary is in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
