The RoleThe Manager Finance Operations provides operational leadership to the Training Sector Finance Services teams, driving the delivery of efficient, high‑quality, and client‑focused services in line with policies, directions, Shared Services Service Level Agreements, and organisational requirements.
To succeed in this role, you'll ideally bring experience in finance operations within a shared services or financial services setting, backed by a solid background in customer service delivery. You'll have a strong focus on financial operations and reporting, process improvement, taxation compliance, and stakeholder engagement—paired with well-developed leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
You'll be hands-on with key projects like faster secure payables, tech upgrades, new accounting standards and tax research, while also helping lead process improvements across finance and multiple client agencies.
There's a strong focus on building team capability, supporting change, and shaping how financial services evolve to be more efficient, innovative, and future-ready.
