About the Role:
As a Project Administrator at Stripes, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our dynamic civil project teams across major earthworks and water infrastructure projects throughout Australia.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven administrative professional to leverage their project administration skills and computer expertise in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and field staff, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative functions that are critical to project delivery.
Your attention to detail, proactive approach, and ability to juggle competing priorities will ensure projects are coordinated efficiently and documentation is managed with the highest standard of accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and maintain comprehensive project schedules, timelines, and task trackers to ensure key milestones and deadlines are met.

Undertake end-to-end document control, including collecting, distributing, and archiving project documents in accordance with industry compliance standards.

Create, update, and manage project documentation, drawings, and databases to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.

Assist with the preparation, review, and submission of project reports, contracts, and correspondence as required by project leaders.

Maintain high levels of communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to support effective project coordination.

Support procurement processes by organising documentation and tracking delivery schedules for equipment, materials, and services.

Contribute to site safety, quality, and compliance processes through rigorous administrative support.
About You:

Demonstrated experience as a Project Administrator, Project Assistant, or in a similar project-based administrative role.

Solid understanding of project lifecycles within earthworks, civil construction, or water management sectors. Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), project scheduling software, and document control systems.

Skilled in creating and managing complex schedules and maintaining accurate project documentation.

Meticulous attention to detail; ability to work proactively and independently as well as part of a wider project team.

Strong organisational and time-management skills; comfortable working to strict deadlines and adaptable to changing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to stakeholder liaison.

Previous experience supporting civil infrastructure, Engineering, or water industry projects in the Australian context is highly regarded.
