We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Supervisor to join our team based out of Gunnedah branch, primarily supporting mining and maintenance projects across the region.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating major shutdown projects through effective planning, resourcing and communication with key stakeholders. This includes assisting in the preparation of work scopes, costing, scheduling, project planning and execution to completion.

The role also involves ensuring all reporting needs and administrative functions required by the company and the customer are completed promptly and regularly. Additionally, the supervisor will oversee the accuracy and timeliness of time sheets and sub-contract documentation to enable prompt job costing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan shutdown projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Prepare and execute work scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require prior experience in a supervisory or project management capacity within the mining industry or with a related Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). You must possess appropriate trade qualifications, product training, and intermediate PC skills, as well as good communication and analytical abilities.

A relevant trade certificate such as mobile plant mechanic (HD diesel fitter - earthmoving/heavy transport) is essential, coupled with extensive experience and knowledge in repairing, servicing and maintaining mobile plant equipment.

You will also need to demonstrate adaptability to different teams, rosters, environments and workloads, while ensuring 100% customer satisfaction with internal and external stakeholders, branches & suppliers.
