Our client based in Geelong is currently looking to appoint a Full-Time Sales Delivery Truck Driver with a HR License, to deliver and sell Smallgoods products such pork, ham and salami from their depot to various Deli`s, food stores and distributors. This role will require travelling inside the South Coast region and long-distance travels inside regional Victoria with the ability to do potential overnight stays if required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving the delivery vehicle to customer locations within a specified route.
  • Taking customer orders and delivering products ensuring that all deliveries are accurate and timely.

  • Invoicing customer orders accurately.

  • Processing payments from customers, including handling cash.

  • Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships to promote customer loyalty and increase sales.
  • Presenting and selling additional products to customers at the time of delivery.
  • Completing daily sales reports and delivery receipts.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations while performing duties.

To be successful in obtaining this role, you will need to have:

  • A valid Manual Heavy Rigid Truck License [key essential].
  • Previous experience operating a Heavy Rigid Truck as an advantage.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer and sales experience.
  • Ability and experience to travel long distances, overnight stays and Relief Driving different areas when required.
  • Ability to start immediately an advantage.
  • Efficiency with mobile devices for stock and sales purposes.
  • Full working rights.
