MACH1 Logistics is currently seeking an experienced driver to join our team based out of our Geelong depot

  • Single-trailer, prime mover for both line-haul and local work,
  • Late model, automatic fleet

We offer a combination of interstate and local driving opportunities for a qualified and suitably experienced HC (Heavy Combination) driver. The successful candidate will be required to perform line-haul and long-haul work, as well as service the Greater Melbourne and Geelong areas as needed.

Our services operate from our Geelong depot and regularly run to Adelaide, Brisbane, and everything in between. We have a solid book of regular clients plus an expanding client base. We deliver mostly palletised general freight both interstate regularly and offer daily services to, from, and between Geelong, Greater Melbourne and country Victoria.

The successful candidate will be comfortable loading their own truck as required in our depot and properly securing freight for safe transit.

Minimum job requirements

  • HC licence with experience
  • Interstate trip experience
  • Mandatory EWD use
  • Able to use a variety of phone apps
  • Good personal presentation
  • Great driving record
  • Great English verbal and writing skills
  • Own reliable transport to get to and from work
  • Safety conscious
  • Fit and healthy
  • Good attitude
  • Desire to contribute and work as a team

Preferred (but not essential)

  • Forklift licence
  • Good knowledge of both the Geelong and Melbourne areas
  • BFM accredited
