About the Opportunity
Australian Agribusiness is currently seeking a permanent full time Supply Chain Coordinator to join our experienced Procurement team at Rhodes. Reporting in through the Procurement Team Lead, this dynamic role will support national purchasing requirements, support efficiency initiatives and contribute to building and maintaining procurement business objectives.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Management of purchase orders for customer materials & vendors, including follow up on past due orders.
- Scheduling and actively managing, all import and export shipments and documentation – including updating shipping schedules & liaising with freight forwarders to arrange shipment.
- Reviewing QA/QC documentation, eg. CofA reviews for all customer materials & other vendors.
- Assist where required to provide reporting and analytics to assist with company purchasing.
- Act as a key contact for the purchasing and warehouse teams of Australian Agribusiness, assisting with the resolution of discrepancies related to deliveries and SOH balances.
- Provide assistance and support to the Purchasing & Supply Chain teams to reach strategic objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary education in a related field would be advantageous but not essential
- Minimum 2 Years supply chain experience – relevant industry experience is desirable
- Knowledge of, and experience with, using ERP systems and freight forwarding systems
- High level of computer accuracy with the ability to extract data and develop reports for analysis
- Knowledge of shipping documentation, CofA documentation
- Strong customer focus and team orientated – with a proven ability to handle confidential information
