Alamein FC is looking for a friendly and reliable Canteen Assistant to help keep our match days running smoothly

If you enjoy working in a fun, community atmosphere and have a passion for great service, we'd love to have you on our team.

About the Role

As a Canteen Assistant, you'll help support the operation of our club canteen on Saturdays and Sundays during the football season. You'll work alongside the Canteen Manager and volunteers to serve food and drinks, handle EFTPOS sales, and make sure our players, families, and supporters are looked after.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting with food and drink preparation and service.
  • Providing friendly and efficient customer service.
  • Handling EFTPOS transactions and basic cash sales.
  • Keeping the canteen area clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
  • Supporting volunteers and helping create a welcoming environment.

What We're Looking For

  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in.
  • Friendly and reliable team player.
  • Able to work in a busy environment during peak match times.
  • Experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is a bonus (but not essential).
  • Barista or coffee-making skills would be great, but training can be provided.
  • RSA certification is an advantage.
