Kings Sports is seeking a motivated Printer Operator & General Factory All-Rounder to join our team in Cheltenham. This role involves operating our wide-format print and cutter machines, while also supporting general production tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The position is part-time (16–24 hours per week flexible upon discussion) with the potential to grow into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain wide-format digital printers and cutters (HP Latex Plus Cutter).
  • Prepare and adjust digital files for print (colour management, resizing, layout).
  • Apply UV protective coating to vinyl prints.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Manage sticker, print, and vinyl stock (including ordering when required).
  • Ensure all products meet quality control standards and client requirements.
  • Assist with general production duties and maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace.
  • Contribute to process improvements that boost efficiency and productivity.

About You

  • Previous experience with wide-format printers and cutters is an advantage, but not essential—training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Basic knowledge of design/production software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator) is preferred, though on-site training is also be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail with good organisational and multitasking skills.
  • A reliable team player who follows instructions and works well with others.
  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within the print and manufacturing industry.
