  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for management, shareholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of accounting and budgetary policies.
  • Manage the timely lodgement of BAS, PAYG, GST, and income tax obligations.
  • Examine operational costs and analyse income and expenditure to support business planning.
  • Conduct internal audits, support external audits, and ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
  • Maintain and improve internal financial controls across payroll, accounts payable, credit control, and general ledger.
  • Provide financial and taxation advice on business operations, structures, and future planning.
  • Manage and advise on accounting software systems to enhance accuracy, reporting, and efficiency.
  • Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and brokers regarding audits, compliance, and funding arrangements.
  • Support compliance-based financial reporting, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with insolvency or restructuring matters if required.
