Macquarie Lodge Retirement Village in Arncliffe offers a selection of 54 architecturally designed, one, two and three bedroom apartments with a choice of three stylish finishes. The Village is centrally located in Arncliffe just minutes away from Brighton-Le-Sands and is only 20 minutes from Sydney CBD.
We are looking for a Village Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of the Retirement Village Manager is to:
- Operationally manage the Retirement Village(s)
- Ensure the provision of a high level of care and services and superior customer service for residents.
- Provide effective supervision and management of staff, contractors, volunteers and site visitors
- Responsible for the effective marketing and sales of Units
Your Main Accountabilities will be:
- Ensure stable financial management of the Retirement Village
- Develop industry leading services for residents
- Sales and marketing of vacant units and services
- Ensure effective maintenance and replacement of Village assets
- Develop and implement PCI and provide management reporting
- Undertake all areas of staff management
- Support direct and indirect reporting team
- Ensure and maintain a safe work environment
- Engage in professional development & continuous improvement
ABOUT YOU
You will have
- An appreciation of and the ability and willingness to promote, support and model the values and ethos of The Salvation Army and to facilitate pastoral support where required
- Previous proven Retirement Village leadership experience
- Ability to market the Village to prospective residents and families or advocates
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal/communications skill
- Ability to develop, implement and evaluate organisational policies, procedures and practices.
- Demonstrated excellent knowledge and understanding of the NSW Retirement Villages Act
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge in the management and operation of a Retirement Village
- Demonstrated understanding of the Retirement Village Accreditation process and requirements
Desirable qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications at degree level in Management / Business,
