We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to assist in the management and leadership of our Business Services team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving client and company success, while also working closely with the HSQC Leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture client relationships, ensuring continued satisfaction and growth partnerships.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of financial reports and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Provide clients with all of their compliance, tax and advisory requirements.
  • Expertise in CGT, Company tax, SMSF
  • Continuous improvement of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • CPA / CA qualified
  • Business/Commerce degree with Accounting Major
  • 5 + years in Tax and Business Services
  • Proficiency in Accounting Packages including Xero
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships
  • Great communication skills
