He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder, Nicola Kilner.We are growing rapidly and we're looking for someone who shares this vision and wants to grow with usWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWe are looking to hire aFT Warehouse Associateto work at our distribution center in Port Melbourne.This role requires you to be on-site Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm and may require some overtime during busier periods, such as in the lead up to Christmas.As we have entered the busy end-of-year period, to be successful in this role, you must be fully available to work through December. No leave is approved during this time due to high workload.WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLEResponsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs and inspecting for damages to vehiclesRequired to transport valuable items to different locations within the facility, securing loads to machine before transportationResponsible for maintaining the organization of warehouse – organizing shelving materials, wrapping skids, and preparing them to be lifted onto the racksReceiving and processing incoming stock and materialsResponsible for organizing and retrieving stock, including picking, and filling orders, packing, and shipping, organizing and retrieving stockGathering materials from a Pick ListLoading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse itemsEnsure standards for quality and health and safety are met, including adhering to safety management standards and identifying workplace safety hazardsAssist in maintaining warehouse standards of cleanliness and organization and ensure tidiness standards are always respected and maintainedEnsure compliance with warehouse policies and procedures (e.g. shipments, safety standards, stocking)SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONEHigh School Diploma or relevant designation is preferredValid forklift certification required1 - 2 years of warehouse experience is requiredAbility to multi-task with effective time management and communication skillsAttention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skillsWHAT YOU'LL BE GAINING BY JOINING OUR TEAMThere's a lot of good stuff that comes along with being a DECIEM team member.
