The Position

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive individual that enjoys a variety of tasks and likes to keep busy. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Understand and be willing to carry out daily requirements as requested by the Operations Manager.
  • Provide informative advice on service solutions to ensure customer requirements are met, specifically but not limited to bin placements, shapes and sizes, etc.
  • Manual filing of tip dockets and runsheets.
  • Archiving activities.
  • Respond to customer queries directly.
  • Take customer orders/bin bookings and enter into bookings system
  • Using forms to take collect information from customers re: pricing and new accounts
  • Liaising with schedulers when booking jobs in
  • Provide ETA for clients
  • Responding to client emails regarding enquires
  • Undertake specific administrative tasks including maintenance of customer databases.
  • Cross check the accuracy of disposal fees and where applicable add disposal fees into the data base.
  • Comply with company and client specific policies and procedures.

Requirements for the Position

In order to be successful in this position, you will need to have the following competencies:

  • High degree of computer literacy – proficient with Outlook, Word and especially Excel
  • High level of verbal and written communication
  • Highly motivated and ability to self-starter.
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
