Mining Systems Technician

Role Details:
Reporting to the Mine Production Superintendent at St Ives, you will be responsible for working within a group to implement and maintain Goldfields Innovation & Technology pipeline projects.

This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

Routine inspections of machinery and fixed plant and carry out preventive measures and condition reportingFault-finding, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of the communications networks. Experience using Spectrum Analyzer and OTDR necessaryDesign, repair, and Installation of Operational Technology and Systems onboard Surface Mining Equipment. , Wenco fleet management, 2way Radio and collision awareness systemsDesign, repair, and installation of communications equipment on Trailers, including: 4G LTE, MW network links, Fibre Optics, Structured CablingProgramming Motorola Digital Radios Commissioning of new communication technology introduced to the siteRecording all relevant information into goldfields CMMS- AMT/SAP as requiredAbility to work unsupervised and in a team environmentAbout you:
Previous experience in radio communications, telemetry networks and maintenance in surface and underground mining environmentOpen cabling ticket with fibre endorsement, structured cabling and coaxial is desirable Tertiary qualification in IT, Communications and or Instrumentation is desirableWA "A" Class Electrical Workers License – Highly DesirableCurrent manual C Class Driver's LicenseApplications can be submitted via:
