SERVICE PERSON - FIFO

BDS Mechanical currently has positions available for a Service Person on-site across Australia. This is a casual position - with the potential to transition into a full-time role - with multiple paths to progress in your career. A perfect opportunity to join a large, secure, reputable company.

About us:

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a privately owned and expanding business providing mechanical, auto electrical, and welding repair services - both in-house and onsite. With 22 fully equipped workshop locations across Queensland and a fleet of over 160 field service units, our team covers more than 600,000 km² across Queensland and Western Australia. Wherever you are, BDS is never far away.

The successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the road transport / mining industry
  • Must be well versed and have a broad experience on light and heavy vehicles
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong fault finding skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Electrical skills a bonus
  • Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous
