The Role

Whether you're a recent graduate or a seasoned professional, we are seeking a dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join our team on a full-time basis to support our thriving practice.

Our Mt Pritchard clinic is relocating to a newly renovated space within the Mounties Health & Fitness gym, offering you access to state-of-the-art gym facilities to enhance patient consultations and exercise-based treatment programs.

While your principal location of work will be at Mt Pritchard, you may be required on occasion to work at our other Sports Focus Physiotherapy clinic in Liverpool.

In this role you will focus on making a difference to your client's lives. You will learn communication and health change skills to connect with your clients and will improve their lives with the skills you possess.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Managing and building on our large existing client base by developing a loyal caseload
• Constructing and implementing exercise programs
• Providing a holistic approach to client care via the identification of underlying causes of injury with a focus on optimal lifelong physical health
• Developing excellent rapport with your clients
• Participating in marketing by educating our community
• Liaising with local GP's, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, personal trainers and sport teams
• Demonstrating a commitment to improving your knowledge and clinical skills
• Participating in our regular Professional Development sessions

About you

The successful applicant may be early career, or an experienced clinician. Most importantly, they will be friendly, have excellent communication skills, and be a good team player who is passionate about private practice. We expect that our staff are driven in their pursuit for knowledge and development and always aspiring to achieve great clinical outcomes for our patients.

Applicant requirements:

• Holds a degree in Exercise Physiology with full ESSA registration.
• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport quickly
• You can demonstrate the application of sound clinical reasoning skills
• You are committed to improving your own knowledge and clinical skills
• You are self-motivated and organised
