Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and customer-focused Deli Assistants to join our team. The role involves serving customers, preparing deli products, maintaining a clean workspace, and contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of our store.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Slice, weigh, package, and label deli meats, cheeses, and other products
• Restock shelves and display counters with fresh items
• Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and service areas
• Follow food safety and handling guidelines
• Assist with stock control and deliveries
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or deli work is desirable (training provided)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Polish speaking is a huge bonus (not essential)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Weekend availability is essential
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a positive attitude
