About Us
Ocius Technology is an Australian company dedicated to developing and deploying cutting edge Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USVs). Our vessel's harness Wind, Solar and Wave power to remain at sea collecting vital data for Defence and Civilian applications.
We are under contracts with RAN, RNZN and USA and are responding in an agile way to an ambitious program of building and deploying multiple USVs for operations around Australia and beyond.
About The Role
The Project Coordinator will be work closely with the Darwin team and the Project Manager to ensure the on-water operations of our Bluebottle fleet are effective and ultimately meet and exceed the customer's operational expectations.
The Operations function is responsible for all on water piloting, routing, maintenance and launching and recovering of all Ocius assets.
A typical day as our Project Coordinator could include:
Preparing and delivering weekly operational and maintenance reports for internal stakeholders.
Supporting the planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across the maintenance team to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
Managing relationships with external stakeholders including RAN personnel, port authorities, and other local partners.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience in project coordination or project management, ideally within a maintenance, engineering, or defence environment.
Proven ability to lead and support a technical workforce, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging customers, authorities, and internal leadership.
Understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) policies, with the ability to lead safety meetings and ensure compliance in day-to-day operations.
Experience preparing operational reports, budgets, and performance summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
