**Job Description**

We are seeking a proactive and organised Service Engineer/Coordinator to ensure that services run smoothly throughout the design and construction phases.

This role involves working closely with project teams and subcontractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate service packages during the design and construction phases
  • Act as the main point of contact for all service coordination tasks
  • Schedule and dispatch internal tradespeople and subcontractors according to project timelines
  • Monitor and track service progress, resolving scheduling conflicts proactively
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support junior team members

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification (Certificate III or higher) in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical discipline
  • 3–5 years' experience coordinating service works
  • Experience in high-rise construction projects would be highly valued
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage schedules and budgets
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with subcontractors and internal teams
  • Effective problem solver, focused on timely issue resolution
  • Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, Australian Standards, and compliance requirements
