We're looking for a talented Mid-Senior Nuke Compositor to join our client's growing team in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-end projects, creating visually compelling and seamless composites that bring stories to life.

As a Nuke Compositor, you'll collaborate with other artists and supervisors to deliver final shots that meet the highest artistic and technical standards. You'll be part of a supportive environment that values both creativity and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality composites by integrating live-action footage, CGI, matte paintings, and other visual elements.
  • Use Nuke to perform keying, roto, tracking, paint, color correction, and integration of multiple layers.
  • Work closely with VFX Supervisors, Compositing Leads, and other departments to achieve the creative vision.
  • Troubleshoot and solve compositing challenges, maintaining both artistic and technical excellence.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail across all assigned shots.

About You

  • Experience: 4+ years in a professional VFX studio environment with proven Nuke compositing experience.
  • Skills:
  • Expert knowledge of Nuke and advanced compositing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and integration.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Bonus: Experience mentoring juniors or contributing to pipeline/workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • Must have the current right to work in Australia (citizen, PR, or existing valid visa).
  • Must be willing and able to relocate to Brisbane.
  • Strong showreel demonstrating compositing skills and previous project work.
